What's The Best Book You Read This Year?

Over on the eHarlequin 100 Book Challenge, they asked us to pick the best three books we read this year. Now that is HARD to do. I narrowed my options by sticking to romance, but it was still difficult. Here are the 3 that came to mind first:

Open Invitation by Karen Kendall - Hysterical...and thought provoking without being pushy.
Wife For A Week by Kelly Hunter - She took me to Hong Kong for New Years! You MUST read this one for that alone!
Can You Keep A Secret by Rose Middleton :: I love the Christmas in July/Secret Santa set-up...and Australia in winter.

What was the best book you read this year?

The first three that come to mind are Dark Lover, Lover Eternal and Lover Awakened by J.R. Ward. Those books are sooooooooooooooo good. But of course there are so many that I loved.
