This is just so funny. I don't keep kosher, but I don't have ham either :) I cheat and do turkey ham...veggie sausage... but not right now. Baby does not like spice.
Ah well, let's all laugh at the mistake. Happy Hanukkah people. Go have a jelly doughnut.

Pardon me while I bang my head on the desk...
But on the flip side, at least they are trying, which is more than a lot of people do. Let's give them a dreidel for the effort -- and make sure it turns up a lot of shins.
Come to think of it...where have all the dreidels gone? I can't find any at the stores. And mine have gone missing...
How funny is that??? Try Kinens N Things for the dreidels. They have a small section ususally, but I got mine there. (At mine, they put out Passover items as well... obviously no one Jewish to advise them the two are different holidays!)
Linens N Things - sorry!
LOL that is too funny! Where did you get that picture?

We were trying to figure out what that donut-thing was called the other night, so thanks for the wiki link.
And we also did turkey ham, albiet pre-Chanukah for Thanksgiving. My goal: something I couldn't possibly overcook (worked beautifully).
