13 ways to feel better about yourself

My list from 101 Ways to Transform Your Life by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer
  1. You have a right to be who you are. Unless someone else is being hurt by you being who you are, you have nothing to apologize for.

  2. Walk barefoot in the grass.

  3. God wants us not to love God, but to love one another.

  4. Enjoy today, let inspiration in rather than the stress of the every day. Be consumed with now.

  5. You aren't the only one who can solve others problems. Set your ego aside and let others work out their own problems

  6. Nothing ever goes 'wrong'. Experience is a teacher.

  7. Listen to your internal dialogue and edit those thoughts that aren't what you want from life.

  8. You are not limited by labels like religion, race, nationality, gender...

  9. Release fear and guilt, replace it with love and kindness. Forgive yourself. Guilt wastes mental energy.

  10. You don't define anyone with your judgements, only yourself with your need to judge.

  11. Give yourself a moment of silence.

  12. If you can be kind or be right...choose to be kind.

  13. If prayer is you talking to God, then intuition is God talking to you.

Wow, very inspirational!! I like #6 the best - good to remember that we can learn from every mistake we make. Happy TT!

I like 12. It took me a long time to learn.

Excellent list. I like #1 best, but walking barefoot on the grass came close. :)

Wonderful T13 - I've copied it to print out and hang by the computer so I can see it often (and so can the hubby - he needs #'s 5 and 9).

Great one!

These are all great! If we could all remember them, we'd all be a lot happier, and the world would be a better place. If only it were easy. I'm currently struggling most with #7.

I love these, Jenna. I've noticed a negative turn of my internal dialogue lately and I need to turn it around.
Great list.

Barefoot in the grass. When it's warm and not muddy, though.

Great list.

Great list, Jenna! I love walking barefoot in the grass. Just be careful where you step. =)

I've got birthday cake at my place today, stop by and have a piece.

WOW! Print-worthy. Cool.

I am actively working on #5. This is a hard one for me. I think it comes from being the eldest child...but adults can solve their own problems if you let them. I just need to let them!

I wish more people understood #12.

I like those. And I agree about #12, but man, it's hard.
