Review Tour Highlights

I was feeling poorly during the Caribbean Casanova blog tour, so I didn't manage to list the reviews and interviews as they came in. Here's a recap...followed by the announcement of the winners from the tour.

Caribbean Casanova is a thoroughly entertaining novel that will have you turning the pages quickly as you root for the happily ever after. If you like your novels steamy with blazing chemistry and hot sex scenes, then this one is definitely right up your alley. - Janna Shay

Sexy, sizzling, and fun! I had a blast reading Caribbean Casanova. This is my first work by the author, and I enjoyed her sexy style. 4 Lighting Bolts, Storm Goddess Book Reviews

Chatting with Krystal Shannon ::
KS: Beer, Wine, or mixed drink?
JBB: Wine! Pinot Gris, please. Or champagne. Sometimes lemon drop, but only if the lemons are fresh squeezed. Lush or high-maintenance, whatevs.

Talking with Romancing Rakes ::
RR: Do you have any writing rituals? (blasting music, eating cookies, drinking wine...)
JBB:
I have writing pants. No joke – leopard, zebra & frog. I write better when I’m comfortable. And I tend to stick with one manicure style when drafting a book. Caribbean Casanova was Ruby Shoes (sparkly red).

Dishing with Flirting with Romance ::

When you have writer's block how do you break free?
Writers block is an injury in your creativity. Just like a physical injury, you need to rest and make sure your body can properly heal. Then, you have to work through it. Exercise, stretching…and eventually you’ll be back to your normal pace.
Rachel Brimble chitchat ::
Who would you cast to play your hero & heroine in a movie?
Joe Manganiello & Khloe Kardashian. I am a visual person, so I’m in love with Pinterest for storyboarding. Want to see the inspiration behind Caribbean Casanova? http://pinterest.com/jbayleyburke/caribbean-casanova/

Prattling on at Books and Other Spells ::
Since becoming a writer, what’s the most exciting thing to ever happen to you?
Going to New York City for the Romance Writers of America conference a few years ago. I’ve always dreamed of New York, so it was beyond amazing to find myself there.

All Over The Place

Life has been a whirlwind. The kids home for Spring Break, Hubster negotiating a new job, the angry gut trying to get attention... and I had a book release, signing, & a reading. Sheesh.

Now the kids are back to their routine (and my carpool, ugh), Hubster has the transition scheduled and budget tightened, the antibiotics are doing their thing, and I can get back to doing what I love. Reading, writing, and chatting everyone up.

In fact, I'm all over the blogosphere this week doing fun interviews. Check it out (and enter to win gift certificates)

Caribbean Casanova Has Arrived

Release day is here! If you pre-ordered Caribbean Casanova, it's already in your ereader, ready to help you escape to Anguilla for a little fun Under The Caribbean Sun.

Romance Book Samples has the first chapter here...

I'm blogging at Romance Reader at Heart about my favorite way for a story to start. It Starts With a Kiss...

There are three new reviews today - don't forget to comment on the blog tour for a chance to win Amazon GCs. (Or B&N if you Nook like me, I'm open) If the book does really well, I'm going to give away even more than promised!

Caribbean Casanova has everything you want; a gratifying love story between two interesting characters, a beautiful tropical setting, witty dialog, and a surprise ending that will bring a tear to your eye and leave you satisfied. ~ Slick, Guilty Pleasures

Caribbean Casanova is a fun and sexy read.   ~ Tiffany Talks Books

Caribbean Casanova is a light, breezing story about two people that aren’t meant for each other but in the end find that they are in more ways than one. Also, remember to NOT believe everything that you hear. It might cost you the love of your life. :) ~ Harlie's Books

Kismet Reboot

The site that had been hosting my free read, Kismet, disappeared. Thankfully, some of my local writerly peeps have a site, Romancing the Genres, and they're putting it up over there for ever more. It's a super short from years back, but it still makes me smile.

Kismet - Emma Riley hasn't seen Colin Davis since he gave her her first kiss, and walked out of her life. But since they were only fourteen and his family moved across the country, he can't really be blamed. Can fate, first love, and a warm smile convince Emma kismet does exist?

Casanova Tour, day 4

Cute ad, right? My editor just emailed to say Samhain Publishing made this for Fiction Vixen this month.

Today We Love Kink reviewed Caribbean Casanova. I always get nervous when my schmexy romance gets reviewed at a site that likes the soopah-sexy stuff. But I need to relax, because Harm & Holly seem to have the sexy handled. Day-yum, this review quote made me blush!

"In my opinion you really must read this book, but a fair word of advice. You might want to have a clean pair of panties near by because your are most definitely going to end up wet !!!"

Sharing Links and Wisdom -- "It’s humorous, sexy, and interesting. The characters were amazing and... I want to go on my own Caribbean island adventure now."

Caribbean Casanova Tour Two-fer

Two reviews for Caribbean Casanova today :) Funny bit...one mentioned f/f and I did the whole funky face 'say what?' before I remembered...oh, yeah. LOL.

My Reading Obsession :: Jenna Bayley-Burke gives us sex, sex and more sex with some sexual tension thrown in and even some solo play, f/f, and voyeurism to round out the smorgasbord of titillation ( I always wanted to use that word LOL) on offer in Caribbean Casanova.

Love Triumphs Past and Present :: If you like take-charge heroines and heroes with modern day flaws, you’ll like Caribbean Casanova. It’s a quick, fun read that covers some modern crises not usually found in contemporary romance.

Caribbean Casanova Tour Day 2

I Love Lady Porn Caribbean Casanova took a trip to I Love Lady Porn today. I can't even imagine the kind of searches this blog will wind up on now, but I have to admit, I kinda like their logo.

The review gave me four of those and the quote, "The ending was Spatular!" Which I am choosing to believe means spectacular.

The same review was posted on My Book Boyfriends, which is a blog name I can tell my mother about.
