Throwback Thursday
Whenever a box of my books arrives, I try to get my kids to pose for a pic I can send to friends. This used to be easy for me and exciting for them. They'd get into it and give me super smile faces and they were tiny and cute and I just loved it.
Now, the big one is so far over it I'm not sure he'll even agree to be in the next one. The middle one is more interested in making faces than taking good photos. And the small one? She has never sat still long enough to take a photo that isn't blurred.
It's really too bad for them. I don't plan on giving up the tradition. Even if they give me sullen teenager face.

Cover Reveal :: Anything For A Cowboy
Her plan was for them to fall in bed, not in love.
When veterinarian Jacy Weston changes her location on her western dating website profile, she thinks it’s no big deal. As little white lies go, this one barely qualifies. Besides, her brothers have chased off every guy within a hundred miles, and the expiration date on her virginity is way past due.
Ray Mitchell is not inclined to waste his time on something as unnecessary as dating, but it’s much easier to take a woman to co...ffee than to explain to his mother why he’s in no hurry to get married again. Despite NotMy1stRodeo.com’s promises, he doubts he’ll find any woman willing to find herself stuck on a remote ranch raising rodeo stock. But Jacy is different. She isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. Or to get down and dirty.
Ray’s thinking he’s found the one, until the truth comes out…and he realizes the divorcee from the next county he’s been dating doesn’t exist.
Warning: Contains a virginal heroine looking for the nearest exit for the horizontal highway to heaven, and a cowboy willing to go the distance for the right woman.

I'm giving the RT Convention another try this year. It's in Dallas, so I couldn't resist being part of a Hold 'em Like We Do In Texas party. If you're there, check us out - we'll have gift bags with a free set of playing cards featuring our book covers.

Missing My Best Friend
My computer is being held hostage! The wi-fi went wonky and the track pad stopped working, so I sent my constant companion for a warranty fix. Only to learn that all the screws are stripped - um, no. This is a pampered machine. No one has touched it, bumped it, or anything else. Under fear of my wrath. Just ask my husband. He's never set his fingers on the keys.
So I had to fight with the repair depot, and eventually just paid the ransom. I need my girl back! And they sent her home...broken. She's at a better facility now, and hopefully will return to me as good as new. Because writing on the iPad? It's not my cup of tea. Even when that tea is a quad breve.

Eviction!
It's gone! As those who follow me on Facebook, Twitter, etc. know, I've been battling with an angry intestine for a few years. After lots of different therapy attempts, we decided to go our separate ways. We just cannot be happy together. I mean, you can only stick with something that is trying to kill you for so long. So, with the help of a skillful surgeon, we've separated. Permanently.
I kept the good, and got rid of the bad. Figuring out life with half an intestine has been a windy road, but once everything settles, I'll be better than I've been in years. Able to do things without wondering if the angry intestine will ruin the party.
Here's to a healthy 2015!
