What do you want for the holidays?

I don't know what to buy people.

Truly. I have done NO holiday shopping. I have a handful of things for the boys, but with Hanukkah coming early this year, I don't have enough. But with all the toy recalls, I honestly don't want to go out and buy something else I'll have to check the numbers on and send to the manufacturer.

And Hubba Bubba? Please. That man has everything. Everything I can afford at least.

I don't really want anything either. Diamonds and a trip to Paris, yes...but likely we'll be getting bunk beds and a minivan.

Anyone else not feeling the need to buy this year? I don't want to seem cheap at family gatherings, but I am just not into it.

I know exactly how you feel. My sister asked me yesterday what I wanted for Christmas, and I was at a loss. My answer is usually, "Let me think about it."

I think the festive season is getting over the top and we're forgetting the true meaning in a haze of commercialism.

Anyone who's said "I don't know" this year is getting a token pressie to unwrap and a donation to charity in their name. :o)

(Works for the grown-ups but not the kids...)

I have a good portion of my Christmas shopping done. Of course, it really helps that we are not talking to half the family this year! LOL Cuts our buying in half!

I've done everything already. We do Hanukkah and Christmas, so I have to do double work. I let DH pick what he wanted at Sports Authority today and now I'm done.
PS - congrats on your new sale!
