My computer is being held hostage! The wi-fi went wonky and the track pad stopped working, so I sent my constant companion for a warranty fix. Only to learn that all the screws are stripped - um, no. This is a pampered machine. No one has touched it, bumped it, or anything else. Under fear of my wrath. Just ask my husband. He's never set his fingers on the keys.
So I had to fight with the repair depot, and eventually just paid the ransom. I need my girl back! And they sent her home...broken. She's at a better facility now, and hopefully will return to me as good as new. Because writing on the iPad? It's not my cup of tea. Even when that tea is a quad breve.
