Went to the 2 yo granddaughter's bday party, the had to work, but thought I'd stop in before hitting the sack.

Jessie, I believe Biosphere 2 is a museum now, and maybe research center, but no one lives there on a perm basis anymore.

Jessa, New Orleans...yes!

Pollidog, the daughter and I are having this same discussion. Right now we're buying bagged salad, but talking about buying separate ingredients and cutting it up ourselves. There is really no difference in my winter and summer diets, except we might eat more spaghetti and stews in the winter.

Paty, I'm not so good at iced water either, but I'm trying to drink more water just to stay in practice.

Maggie, I knew you would get the reference Did you see the recent film adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs' John Carter of Mars?

Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15767560505610292503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17876714.post-16289616908451874842013-01-06T12:28:47.062-08:002013-01-06T12:28:47.062-08:00What happened to Biosphere 2?What happened to Biosphere 2?Jessiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15318581914119024669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17876714.post-8578260663214656062013-01-06T11:09:13.473-08:002013-01-06T11:09:13.473-08:00Chicory? Which I probably shouldn't mention as we resolve to eat healthier in 2013!Jessa Sladehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09569827979530923930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17876714.post-66096875521462147292013-01-06T09:17:39.529-08:002013-01-06T09:17:39.529-08:00Su, That salad is chock full of everything I like!...Su, That salad is chock full of everything I like! I may have to make up a batch and eat it for lunch everyday. I find it hard to drink cold water in the winter. I tend to drink green tea all day but in the summer I drink ice water all day.

You can find my recipe on here from earlier in the tour. In winter, we only buy bagged. Also eat lots of soups. How much does your winter/summer menu vary? Alas, we are not there yet.

You are now the second person to mention salads. I really have to get back into the salad habit. I've always loved them, but somehow I let it get away from me. Thanks!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
